Yoga M.A.T.T. is proud of its diverse class schedule that was designed to create healthy bodies and balanced minds. For over 13 years, we have been offering a variety of yoga classes that compliment our group fitness program. The majority of our clients integrate yoga as part of their cross-training program. Our teachers are all 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified and are progressively participating in continuing education courses to deepen their personal practice and growth. Each teacher brings their own interpretation of yoga to their class keeping in mind the needs of our clients and the integrity of the practice.
A therapeutic deep stretch class geared toward creating greater flexibility & joint mobility by targeting those areas tightened by overuse & stress. This class is the perfect warm-up before any TRX class and acts as a recovery class for those looking to restore overused muscles. Open and beneficial to all levels.
A deep stretch class where poses are held for an extended period. This class targets on stretching the connective tissue as opposed to muscular tissue. Extremely beneficial to athletes – specifically runners or cyclists.
Learn the foundations of meditation while practicing different approaches and techniques by applying ancient methods to help strengthen your inner capacities for modern day living and deepen your connection within and with oneness. This class will incorporate sound healing to deepen your meditative experience and begin a new week with intention and sense of renewal. No prior experience is required. Whether you are trying meditation for the first time or seeking to deepen your practice, come as you are.
A vinyasa based class with emphasis on alignment. This moderate paced class will build flexibility and strength. A great class for beginners or for those looking to refine their practice. Props such as blocks and straps will be used to help assist with alignment.
An intermediate level class that focuses on movement through poses utilizing the breath. This class builds strength & flexibility and is physically challenging. Participants should have some yoga experience.
A fusion class combining traditional power yoga with kettlebells. This class is taught in a moderately heated room and will challenge all fitness levels. Ready to sweat and learn some core movements with a kettlebell...then this class is for you! Kettlebell experience not required however, participants should have some yoga experience.

Our class size never exceeds 18 persons which allows each class to become a learning environment. All classes focus on alignment regardless of the level. Our class levels range from beginner to advanced. We invite you to choose your "power" whether it be a gentle practice or power heated vinyasa!

We strive each day to build a strong, compassionate community through our class teachings as well as community service and volunteer work. We are dedicated to supporting local community events and are proud of the client participation at these events.
Yoga M.A.T.T.'s Barre classes incorporate weight-bearing exercises, components of strength and ballet training as well as yoga poses for deep stretching. This full body workout will create a long, lean and toned body. All classes are low impact and focus on small isometric movements. Each class begins with a warm-up then moves through a specific template of multiple exercises. Exercises include upper body work with small weights, high bar work for legs and glutes, low bar work for core strengthening, floor work for abdominal and deep stretching to elongate the muscles worked.
A barre class combining weight-bearing exercises, strength training and ballet bar techniques to form, long lean muscles.
A barre class fusing interval cardio training with the traditional elements of a barre class including strength training, ballet bar techniques and weight-bearing exercises.

TRX is a functional type of training that utilizes body weight to create a resistance workout. TRX training conditions the body by building cardio endurance as well as creating strong, lean muscle mass. Core strength and stability as well as flexibility are also strengthened/increased by training on the TRX. Yoga M.A.T.T. offers various small groups training classes each week to meet the needs of our clients. Our class levels range from beginner to advanced and the maximum number of participants per class is 10. The majority of classes integrate TRX with Kettlebell, H.I.I.T. And plyometric exercises. Regardless of the level of the class, all classes are designed to challenge the participants.
*All clients with no experience are required to participate in at least one TRX Basics class to learn proper form and alignment.
A class specifically designed for beginners or clients with minimal TRX experience to teach proper form and alignment when training on the TRX. This class will help condition your body for more advanced training on the TRX.
A circuit style class focused on toning, strengthening and building endurance. TRaXel is a 60-minute class that integrates TRX Training with the Axel barbell. This class will combine metabolic and plyometric exercises to condition and tone the body through various push, pull, core and cardio exercises.
A full body TRX workout combined with high intensity cardio exercises. Exercises are focused on duration instead of repetitions to build cardio endurance.
A full body TRX workout targeting all major muscle groups. This workout focuses on the number of repetitions per exercise. Equal time is spent on upper body, lower body & core to help build lean muscle and core strength.
A moderate paced class for all fitness levels. This class focuses on building core strength , stability and endurance. The TRX as well as other functional training equipment will be used to target all major core muscle groups including glutes!
A moderate/fast-paced class for fitness enthusiasts. This class targets arms and core exclusively. The TRX, Rip Trainer, kettlebells and resistance bands will be used for bicep, tricep and core strengthening.
This fast-paced class is designed to sculpt and create lean muscle in the lower region body parts including legs, glutes and hips through the use of TRX, kettlebells, plyometric and metabolic exercise. This class also includes core strengthening exercises as well as movements to build cardiovascular endurance. Kettlebell experience not required.
A multi level resistance training class focusing on creating long lean muscles through various push/pull functional training exercises. TRX's, kettlebells, small weights, mini and resistance bands will be used for this class. Each class will begin with activation and core training and end with a deep stretch. Open to all levels ... work at your pace!
Yoga M.A.T.T. offers a variety of Kettlebell classes as part of our small group training program. Our class levels range from beginner to advanced and the maximum number of participants per class is 10. The dynamic movement used in Kettlebell training increases strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance. All classes begin with a dynamic warm up and end with a cool down to help prevent injury and ensure proper recovery.
An intermediate to advanced workout designed to sculpt and tone your entire body. This class targets all major muscle groups through various kettlebell movements. Designed for participants with previous kettlebell experience.
An intermediate to advanced workout designed for experienced fitness enthusiasts physically conditioned. An intense full body workout integrating Rip Trainer and kettlebell exercises. This class will build strength and stability in the core as well as increase your cardiovascular endurance. No Rip Trainer experience required, kettlebell experience is necessary.
A fast-paced class emphasizing endurance and strength training. Body weight training plus plyometrics will be emphasized in this intermediate level interval training class. Fitness experience highly recommended for this class.
A traditional approach to weight lifting utilizing the Axle barbell. This strength training class focuses on building muscle hypertrophy in all major body parts. All fitness levels are welcomed with appropriate weights available for all fitness types.
